Throughout 2018, ABC 7 Eyewitness News featured veterans with powerful and interesting stories. Elliott was a featured veteran for this segment due to how he has been using music as a form of therapy for his PTSD and has been inspiring others through his platform.
For Veterans Day in 2017, iheart radio selected veterans in the music industry to be interviewed about how music has helped them after leaving the military. Elliott was chosen and interviewed along with other veterans and recording artist Khalid

Make The Connection is a website featuring veterans with powerful stories of recovery and triumph over their issues after war. Elliott was chosen and interviewed about his experiences after leaving the Marines.

For Memorial Day 2018, Elliott was invited to perform live at the We Rise Festival in Los Angeles. This performance and Elliott's story inspired reporters from the Los Angeles times newspaper to interview Elliott and do a two page story in the newspaper about him and other veterans who use art and music as therapy.

Hope For The Warriors is a non-profit organization that helps wounded veterans. Upon creating a talk show to discuss veteran topics, they invited Elliott to be a featured guest on their first episode!

Crown City Network is a TV and internet news platform for the Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley in California. Elliott was invited to be interviewed and tell his story as a guest on the network!

On June 29th, 2018, the Department of Veterans Affairs elected Elliott as the Veteran of the Day!! They posted about him and his story on their social media platforms and website!! #veteranoftheday

On July 12th, 2018, Elliott was invited to be a guest on 107.7/92.1 The Bull Radio out of Illinois! He told his story of triumph through PTSD using music and paid tribute to Hope For the Warriors through their "Seats For Soldiers" program!

On August 14th, 2018, Elliott's story of triumph over PTSD through music as a form of therapy was told in an emotional and powerful segment on the 5pm news!! Through this segment, Elliott was able to show the more emotional side of what PTSD can do and how music saved his life!!

Elliott was invited by the Veterans Association to be a guest on their podcast "Borne The Battle". During this podcast Elliott went into details about his long journey recovering from PTSD through music and his triumph into a new and brighter life!
